Frizberry Yogurt Shop in Cebu

Waking up for some yogurt was really something that I never imagined doing before. One, you can’t get yogurt anywhere in Cebu unless you go to a place somewhere in Banilad, which I am even unfamiliar with. Two, yogurt in the morning without having anything in your stomach can make you, well, queasy. Nonetheless, like I said in my previous post, I’m a big yogurt fan, and I’m not about to let the first unpacked and non-supermarket sold yogurt pass me by.

I actually detailed how to go to the actual stall in the previous post, but I ended up getting lost myself. I knew where the stall was going to be, but I actually went the opposite way, missing the stall by just a mere 2 meters. I still can’t believe I didn’t look the other way when I knew the stall had to be around there.

Mall hours start at 10AM and I got to the stall at around 10:30ish because I got lost. Pffft. But that’s ok. Everybody else was late anyway. Haha. And of course, who else will I be there with? Nobody else but the Cebu Bloggers Society. :D

Birth Certificate Blues—Again

Birth Certificate in SECPAWhen I was about 6 years old, I was admitted into elementary school because I can reach my left ear using my right hand over my head. :P

Seriously though, the school agreed to let me in as long as I was turning 7 the same year. Thing is, I was only 5 years old turning 6. So my mother had a plan, since my birth certificate was old, and the school only required a xerox copy, she went ahead and had it photocopied, and when the copy wasn’t too clear, she would type the letters in and well, 1984 magically turned into 1983.

It’s Friday and my Team Lead made sure that the scheduling team gave us the same rest days so that we can have our very first team social day. We basically just went out to have dinner together and of course, it was sponsored by the company that we worked for. There was a budget of course and since it was just the day after pay day, we wanted to spoil ourselves and decided to spend more than the alloted budget. We were just gonna add up to the budget. The team social wasn’t just for fun, it was actually the only time that the entire team could spend together since we have different schedules and then we could also plan out strategies and meet about everything else going on at work. The place that we went to: Casa Verde.

What is your ISP?

Mine is Smartbro. Up until like a month or so ago, my Internet has been doing really great. I don’t really need to have super fast Internet, since what I do is check my e-mails, post in forums, chat and well, occassionally watch videos over the Internet.

Oh, and let’s not forget, blog and extend communities. ;)

Well, since I’m out of the lock-in period of the ISP, I wanted to sign up for the other ISPs, since Smartbro isn’t offering anything better than 384kbps. I would’ve gone for the 768kbps plan of PLDT, but I held back because of a lot of PLDT’s subscribers have been complaining about how bad the service is. Just a few days ago, I went to ask about the service in the nearby Internet cafe, and well, the girl sitting behind the desk was super not pleased with the service.

“PLDT? Duha ka semana way Internet! Patay kaayo ang negosyo!” was what she had to say.

In English, “PLDT? Two weeks without Internet! Business is so dead!”

So needless to say, I was pretty :O and her comment of course scared me into not wanting to subscribe to PLDT. Now what about Globelines? I’ve had some techs bothering me into subscribing to Globelines, but from the forum that I’ve been posting and reading in, Globelines has a lot of subscribers in ther from all over Cebu complaining about how bad the service is, that Globelines has been too busy with getting more subscribers, but don’t care about how their current subscribers are thinking about their service.

So, what is your ISP, and how better is it from Smartbro?
