EIKNUJOMORP —When you look at the word, the first thought would be to Google it since you don’t exactly know what it means, but if you’re quick, you will know that it’s just the word promojunkie, reversed. So what’s up with this post?

There is currently a Search Engine Optimization contest being held at the Promojunkie Webmaster Forum. This is actually the first SEO contest that I will be joining, and I’m hoping that I rank good at the SERPs. If you’re wondering what Promojunkie is all about, it’s a website full of webmaster resources, tools, SEO tips and tricks, and more. The EIKNUJOMORP SEO Contest is open for two(2) full months from August 10, 2010 to October 10, 2010, so that means I’m already a day late.

What is Google Trends? According to Wikipedia,

Google Trends is a tool from Google Labs that shows the most popularly searched terms from the beginning of 2004 to now.

Google Trends charts how often a particular search term is entered relative the total search volume across various regions of the world, and in various languages. The horizontal axis of the main graph represents time (starting from some time in 2004), and the vertical is how often a term is searched for relative the total number of searches, globally.
