Love the kid. Never thought I’d actually get to hear a little ten-year-old boy sing Frank Sinatra.
I have never had hash browns in my entire life before. I have only heard about them in the movies, TV shows and definitely not on Philippine television. I got up at five in the morning, which is so not like me. I have bad sleeping habits and that I really should just get some sleep whenever I need it, but I had to get up. Time check: 7:14AM. The Medicard office opens at 8AM. So I walk around a little bit around Fuente, the big circle in the midtown Cebu, and since I was still pretty much hungry, I slipped into McDonald’s and ordered some pancakes, orange juice and one hash brown. The guy who took my order said, “How many are you having?” after I said just one. So I repeated what I said and they pretty much gave me just one. It was Php18.00.
