It was great getting to meet everybody for the first time. I was kinda hesitant about the place, because it was about a hundred meters away from the main road, and I do not like walking in stilettos for too long. I’m used to high heels, but I mean, walking on rough road in them? Not easy.

Anyway, the meeting was at 3PM at Brews Point. Francis aka blurem23 was there first, and Rodel and I got there at the same time and went in together. There wasn’t anybody else around there, so obviously the guy with one bottle of beer was blurem. We barely sat together for 2 minutes and two more girls joined us. Maibe and Empress came together and we all introduced ourselves. Introducing myself wasn’t too hard and I don’t think they’re gonna be forgetting me soon. I only have the toughest name to remember. Hahaha. I don’t get it though. Why is it so hard for Filipinos to say Wilhelmina? It’s just a word with four syllables. Rendezvous doesn’t even sound the way it’s spelled.

I’m the kind of person who would snort with laughter when someone would be all lovey-dovey. I’m very sarcastic about these things, as well. Little does anybody know that I am a huge fool for love.

Call me the Super Fool.

I don’t approve of high school flings, kids having BFs/GFs at age twelve, and reciprocated opposite sex love at very young ages. In my opinion, kids who are not mature enough to handle the hurts of a relationship should not engage in relationships, rather only platonic ones. I understand that it feels good having someone who appreciates you, loves you, but the thing is, majority of these relationships fail. For guys/girls who never wanna marry, why bother being with that person if you’re not planning on spending the rest of your life with that person? Read the rest of this entry »

EB – an acronym for Eye Ball, a slang term used to describe meeting up for the first time. Only Pinoys use this term.

My online blogger friends and I have decided to meet up for the first time tomorrow, March 15, 2008, Saturday at 3:00 PM at a coffee shop. We’re gonna be talking about Search Engine Optimization, on how to get more traffic, make money online, and of course, making new friends is already part of the package.

I met these bloggers from a forum that I frequent, like everyday frequent, and well, after chatting up a little too much in one of the most popular threads on the site, we got motivated enough to start blogging and updating as much as we can. Rodel and I have already met up a couple of times, and I must say, he has been quite useful in supplying my knowledge about getting traffic. Trust me, he really did. This blog has been around more than his site and my traffic is no where near his traffic.

Now let’s see if we can document the meeting tomorrow and post it on here after.

Who got eliminated tonight? Jim Carrey was at the show, dressed up like an elephant. Haha, love the guy, he’s hilarious! It has been noted that 29 Million votes were counted. Jim Carrey wasn’t the only one at the show, an American Idol alumnus was there too, namely Sanjaya Malakar with his sister, Shyamali.

Carly Smithson, Michael Johns and Jason Castro were called to the safe side first. Syesha Mercado was then called to the Bottom 3. The Ford Commercial that they NEVER show on Philippine television was aired.

It’s time for the American Idol Top 12 to showcase their talents again before one of them gets eliminated again on the new stage tomorrow. Last night, it was Beatles night and it seems that the Beatles had them going for their money. The best performers from the previous weeks have been told that they weren’t doing too good this week. As an overview, here’s what happened.

It was Syesha Mercado who braved the bigger and better stage. She did a rendition of “Got To Get You Into My Life” and apparently did well even if she started “off-pitch”. And Simon saying that “it was better than alright.” has to be something positive, right?

What is Google Trends? According to Wikipedia,

Google Trends is a tool from Google Labs that shows the most popularly searched terms from the beginning of 2004 to now.

Google Trends charts how often a particular search term is entered relative the total search volume across various regions of the world, and in various languages. The horizontal axis of the main graph represents time (starting from some time in 2004), and the vertical is how often a term is searched for relative the total number of searches, globally.
