Depression Sinking In
In the Philippines, a lot of people do not know if they are depressed or not. You just find out right after you die or when something really bad happens and then you finally get yourself checked out to see if there is something wrong with you.
I did some reading about it, and well, some of the symptoms say that I might have some mild depression. Thing is, I don’t have enough resources to get myself checked out, which is why a lot of people are so unaware of actually having it themselves. Because a lot of people can’t afford it, they risk themselves.
Right now, I have been pretty much going on a downward spiral. Like most women, I am pretty moody, but lately, I’ve been feeling like getting rebellious. I guess the pressure of being the eldest child and that high expectations are wearing out on me. Right now, I’m just keeping my focus on being a good girl and getting myself more into my studies. Just two more months… Two more months.
