Things to Consider When Doing a Job
Okay, for all those jobless people out there. How do you know if doing a job is actually worth it? Is it because it pays really well? Or is it because you just love your job? The first one’s a really great thing, and paired with the second one, it’s the perfect job. But what if you just love the job but isn’t getting paid enough for it? Is it still okay? Is it still worth doing the job?
I guess it’s still worth it if you didn’t have a family to feed. You can just fend off for yourself. But if you did, how are you going to get your kids to school and feed them at the same time? And I hate to admit it, but wives, especially the stay-at-home ones or those who budget everything around the house, get frustrated even more than the working husbands. I mean how are you going to pay a $300 bill if your husband just gave you $200? And what about staying pretty for your husband? Guys may say that they don’t really care for looks especially if they love their wives, but wait till they go into their 40′s and the wives don’t have anymore time to look pretty and are too busy with the kids to even give them attention. Besides, when they first met, they saw each other, right? Well, unless they were both blind.
Just basing from what I’ve seen. Don’t hate.
But what if you had a great-paying job, but aren’t satisfied with it? Not financially, but you feel incomplete.
You know what the great thing about having a great-paying job first is? It’s because when you saved up enough and have investments, you can actually do anything you want later on. You are financially secured, and you can be rest assured that you won’t be busting your butt working too much. You definitely don’t need the stress. That’s why I finished school. But I’m planning on doing something that I’m passionate about, and making everybody around me happy, not just myself.
Hey, I’m in the Philippines, I’m poor, and I like being practical. And I definitely don’t want my future baby telling me, “You just want to do what you want and don’t care about anybody else but yourself.”. It’s sad that a person can actually be called selfish for doing something he that loves and is getting paid really bad for it.
But success comes with time, and if you’re willing to wait that long, then good luck to you.
